The United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s bleak new report has one message; ‘irreversible effects’ of climate changes are already here and it is ‘unequivocal’ that humans caused this climate crisis (which is playing out in horrific weather events around the globe right now.)

Unless we act swiftly to reduce ‘greenhouse gas emissions to zero,’ we may reach the point of no return.

On Monday, the Biden administration announced $5 billion in funding through the Federal Emergency Management Agency aimed at helping states and localities prepare for “extreme weather and climate-related disasters”

“We cannot delay ambitious climate action any longer,” Blinken said in a statement. “This moment requires world leaders, the private sector, and individuals to act together with urgency and do everything it takes to protect our planet and our future in this decade and beyond.”

We’re running out of time.
