Wouldn’t you feel safer in the air if you knew that the flight attendants, the captain — well, everyone at the airline — were vaccinated?

United Airlines is betting so and will require its 67,000 U.S. employees to get vaccinated against Covid by Oct. 25 or risk termination.

Other airlines have encouraged employees to do the right thing by offering them time off to get the shot and Delta Air Lines started requiring newly hired employees to show proof of vaccination.

Hopefully, this move by United will force the other airlines to follow suit.
