It was your usual Tony Awards — lots of enthusiastic dancing and singing — that is until Robert DeNiro took the stage and yelled ‘f*** Trump’ and got a standing ovation.
DeNiro pumped his fists triumphantly when the audience cheered him on.
The 74 year-old actor then yelled ‘its no longer ‘down with Trump,’ its f*** Trump. ‘
It was bleeped so the television audience didn’t hear the ‘F***’ but the meaning was crystal clear.
