Acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney has gone on record as saying that the media is responsible for the Coronavirus fears, complaining:

‘They think this will bring down the president. That’s what it’s all about.’

The man with no medical training also said that: ‘It’s not a death sentence. It’s not the same as the Ebola crisis.’ (This despite the fact that people continue to die from the Coronavirus.)

Even going so far as to say the press is covering ‘fake news’ he compared the breaking news to a hoax.

‘While real news was happening, the press was covering their hoax of the day,’ he said.

As if that wasn’t enough, he went on to compare the deadly virus to the flu.

‘We sit there and watch the markets and there’s this huge panic. Why isn’t there this panic every single year over flu?’ he asked.

As he continued his upbeat comments, the virus continues to spread and there still isn’t a vaccine.
