Just In: The House has indicated it will vote today on a resolution to begin an impeachment inquiry into the President after his racist tweets pushed the issue.

Spearheaded by Texas Democratic Rep. Al Green, he called Trump ‘unfit’ to be president and said his conduct ‘warrants impeachment, trial and removal from office.’

Despite urging caution, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may not be able to stop the measure, which the House could vote to table or kill the resolution. IF it passes it would then go to the  Judiciary Committee.

Green said Tuesday on the House floor: ‘President Donald Trump’s racist comments that have legitimatized and increased fear and hatred of new Americans and people of color.’
