We had to read that headline twice, too.

A Tesla engineer by the name of Wes Morrill is pleading with Cybertruck owners to stop ‘abusing’ their new toy truck.

But you can blame this on Elon Musk. Remember when he showcased the new Crybertruck in late 2019 and boasted it was incredibly tough and ‘literally bulletproof?’

So of course owners decided to test this themselves, shooting at it, trying to burn it with a flame thrower, hurling rocks, and taking a sledgehammer to the stainless steel beast.

It boggles the mind that owners would deliberately damage their six-figure pickup trucks because inevitably they end up driving around with bullet holes in their pricey vehicles. (The Cyberbeast model will put you back about $100,000 — if you can get one.)
