Inspired by 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg, millions of children took off school around the world to protest climate change and demand change. In N.Y., the Department of Education has excused all school-age children who want to protest, and many other cities are following suit. 1.1 million students have joined the demonstration in New York alone.
The march in N.Y. will culminate with Thunberg addressing the multitudes from in front of the U.N. building. Lawmakers, are you paying attention?
