The Federal Emergency Management Agency has almost finalized a deal with the Department of Defense to put as many as 10,000 service members to work in the COVID vaccination effort.

Under Biden’s plan to ramp up to vaccinate 1.5 million people per month, the military could play a key role.

While only military doctors will help administer the shots, the U.S. military will help with logistics, making sure the valuable vaccine reaches all the States.

FEMA also pledged $1.2 billion to States for expenses related to Covid vaccinations.
