Daniel “DJ” Rodriguez, the Jan. 6th Capitol rioter who used a stun gun on police officer Michael Fanone, captured on Fanone’s bodycam, was sentenced today to 12 years in prison.
In sentencing him, the judge said Rodriguez was “a one-man army of hate, attacking police and destroying property.”
“You showed up in DC spoiling for a fight,” Jackson said. “You can’t blame what you did once you got there on anyone but yourself.”
The unrepentant defendant yelled, “Trump won!” as he was led out of the courtroom. Maybe he believes Trump who has stated that when he’s President he’ll pardon all the convicted Jan. 6th rioters?
