At long last we have some details on Oscar winner Brad Pitt’s Formula 1 racing film as crews filed scenes at Silverstone race track last weekend where the British Grand Prix was held.
Pitt stars as a former driver returning to the sport with a fictional team alongside actor Damson Idris as his teammate.
It’s got some heavy hitters behind the scenes too with director Joseph Kosinski, of ‘Top Gun; Maverick,” producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton on board.
“For someone that hasn’t raced, he’s definitely already got a keen eye. He loves watching MotoGP, so he’s always been a racing enthusiast. He already had a knack for the lines and he was fully, fully on it, which was good to see,” Lewis Hamilton enthused.
In this video, Brad Pitt chats to Martin Brundle all about what it’s been like to drive around Silverstone and how grateful he is to be allowed to film during a race weekend.
