After pulling an all-nighter, the Senate passed the Inflation Reduction Act — another huge win for the Biden administration — that will bring down prescription drug costs, set aside $300 billion to fight climate change, and revise the tax code so companies that make $1 billion or more are charged a 15% minimum tax (which should bring in about $300 B in revenue.)

 

 

Note: not one Republican voted for the bill which made VP Kamala Harris the tie-breaker.
