Not only is ‘Wildcat’ directed by Ethan Hawke, but it also stars his daughter Maya (‘Stranger Things’) as the 20th-century author Flannery O’Connor.
Wildcat tells the story of O’Connor’s often tortured life in the 1950s as she writes her debut novel Wise Blood and is diagnosed with lupus at 24 years old.
Wildcat is in theaters May 3.
