BREAKING NEWS: The US Department of Energy concluded that the Covid-19 pandemic ‘most likely came from a laboratory leak in China.
“Right now, there is not a definitive answer that has emerged from the intelligence community on this question,” national security adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN on Sunday, noting that President Joe Biden has put resources into getting to the bottom of the origin of COVID.
Remember, this is not a definitive report — intelligence agencies are divided on the matter.
Whether COIVD emerged naturally or was the result of a lab leak is still up for debate and given the nature of the Chinese government, we may never know. (Beijing hasn’t been very cooperative.)
