Marjorie Taylor Greene was briefly in charge of the House yesterday and at one point called for quiet.
“Members are reminded to abide by decorum of the House,” she said, which sparked racous laughter.
Democratic Rep. Jimmy Gomez compared Greene’s call for decorum to “Leonardo DiCaprio telling people to date people their own age.”
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) tweeted that he hadn’t “laughed this hard in a while.”
It’s ironic if you consider she heckled President Biden at the State of The Union, routinely interrupts House business to spout conspiracy theories, and, in short, is a hypocrite.
