Sunday, President Trump tweeted about four Democratic congresswomen of color:

‘Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came.’ (They’re all Americans of course.)

AOC was born in The Bronx, New York, Tlaib was born in Detroit and Pressley was born in Ohio. Omar was born outside of the US, having moved from Somalia when she was 10.

Since then, some A list stars have hit out at Trump for his racist comments, including Cher who tweeted:

‘I think Trump should go back [to] where he came from.’

Captain America’s Chris Evans and Star Trek’s George Takei also voiced their opinions of social media. Evans said Trump’s tweets were feeding the President’s ‘insatiable ego’ by ‘wielding hate and racism’.

George Takei tweeted:

Good for them!
