For fun, we like to browse exotic Airbnbs around the world. Want to stay in a treehouse in Panama? No problem. How about a yurt in Kenya? Fancy a cave house in Greece?

But even new to us in the Yellow Submarine Airbnb in New Zealand.

Technically, it’s not really a re-purposed sub but a creative mish-mash of an old grain silo, spa bath and milking shed, then painted bright yellow to resemble the Beatles version.

The one-bedroom, one-bathroom rental certainly goes to great lengths with nautical details such as potholes, a mannequin dressed as a captain and a steampunk lounge.

Surprisingly, the Yellow Submarine Airbnb is very reasonable at $132 and they don’t ding you with a cleaning fee.
