This is our mash note to the new (to the U.S.) Korean beauty brand DEAR DAHLIA. What’s not to love? All-natural and cruelty-free, the ethically sourced K-beauty line’s magic ingredient is the Dahlia flower which is known for its antioxidants and is often used in Eastern medicine.
That’s all good but let’s face it, we’re crazy about the color-saturated lip colors, the lush packaging plus the staying power of the lipsticks and the lip ‘mousse’ (if a regular lipstick and a lip gloss had a baby.)
And instead of the commonly used (less expensive) carmine or beeswax, D.D. features Rice Bran wax, which accounts for the creamy texture.
