In case you hadn’t heard, Netflix’s Wednesday is a hit. A take-off on the Addams Family, the scene that has gone viral is when Jenna Ortega (Wednesday) performs a strangely mesmerizing dance to “Goo Goo Muck” by The Cramps. It just makes you want to get up and dance too, doesn’t it?
The modest actress says about this pivotal scene:
“I choreographed that myself! I’m not a dancer and I’m sure that’s obvious. I’d gotten the song [‘Goo Goo Muck’] about a week before and I just pulled from whatever I could… it’s crazy because it was my first day with COVID so it was awful to film … I asked to redo it but we didn’t have time. I think I probably could have done it a bit better…”
