When they get to the World Cup in Qatar, there will be something different about the USA’s team crest. Instead of the traditional red stripes, instead, they’ve redesigned it in rainbow colors to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community.
Sounds great, doesn’t it?
Except for one thing — you won’t see the new colors on the field; they’ll wear the old crest on their uniforms. The new crest colors will only be at their practice facilities.
Sadly, they’ve missed an opportunity to show the world their true colors.
