Pureology, the professional color care hair products you see in high-end salons, were pioneers in creating a sulfate-free and 100% vegan line and have taken it even further with the new sustainable line. The luxurious shampoos, conditioners, treatments, and styling products have reduced their carbon footprint and even the packaging is completely recyclable. What’s more, all the products are paraben and mineral-free.

But you want to know how they work.

We tested the Hydrate shampoo ($30) and conditioner with jojoba, green tea and sage which left us with soft, shiny hair but didn’t weigh our baby fine hair down. Next, after a day in the Ocean, when the sea salt had crusted our blonde hair, we applied the Hydrate Superfood Treatment ($38) and left it in for 10 minutes (the instructions say 5 but our hair really needed some love.) It’s like a mask for the hair and the intense moisturizing (that must be the Avocado Oil and Coconut Oil ) restored our locks as if we’d had a salon keratin treatment!

For regular use, we’re using the Hydrate Sheer Conditioner for fine, color-treated hair, which gives us just enough lightweight conditioning.

But our fave product is the Color Fanatic Leave-in Hair Spray ($28) which protects our delicate flaxen locks from fading in the sun and gives us great shine. ( Key ingredients Camelina Oil, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil and a signature aromatherapy blend of Rose, Floral Ginger, and Cedarwood which has a pleasing  clean smell.)

There’s something for everyone in the new Pureology line.

You can buy Pureology on Pureology.com and in August at ULTA and Amazon.com. Also in August, Pureology will launch en masse on Sephora.com.

Your hair will thank you.
