Founder of YENSA beauty, Jennifer Yen is a superhero, literally. Yen started her career on the TV show Power Rangers and now she saves complexions with her superfoods beauty line, YENSA (sorry, we couldn’t resist.)

The new hero product in her line is the BC Foundation which provides complete coverage plus has 8 superfood ingredients so it’s good for your skin AND has an SPF of 40. We tried it and loved the way it absorbed into our skin, giving us a natural we’re-not-wearing-makeup look. ($38.)

Powered by ‘ SuperBlacks Essence’ such as black seaweed (brightens and smoothes skin), Black rice (improves skin’s texture),  Shiitake mushrooms (boosts skin radiance) and Chia Seeds (Rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and restores moisture) our skin is better for wearing the BC foundation.

But that’s not the only reason Jennifer Yen is our superhero.

The empowering beauty brand is supporting National Equal Pay Day (April 10) by donating to Dress for Success. For each sale of their new BC Foundation, a percentage of the sales are donated to the DFS, an ‘organization that offers resources to women to ensure economic independence and success – letting them put their best face forward.’ By donating suits and other clothing, women help other women, many who need good clothes to apply for jobs. (After leaving my executive position to start this site, I donated all my work suits to Dress For Success.)
