‘Alex the Great,’ coming to an airport near you!
‘Alex’ is a 28-pound therapy rabbit who helps nervous fliers at the SF airport. (This domestic rabbit breed is known as ‘Flemish Giants.’)
Imagine seeing him come through the airport in his stroller!
His owners say that he ‘puts smiles on people’s faces’ and can make someone’s day. Children sometimes can hold him in their laps and pet him while the docile bunny lounges.
‘This is why we volunteer, you’d be amazed how many people really loved seeing him and even have some people start to cry because they were going through something and petting him makes them feel better,” continued the owners.
