Our latest beauty obsession is facial oil and lately, we’ve been using Joy Beauty Rose Gold Facial Oil. Upon opening the bottle we were hit with a lovely floral scent that immediately gives vacation vibes and it only gets better from there.
This vegan formula of hemp seed oil, vitamin E, grapeseed oil, Rosehip, and coconut oil has a luxurious viscosity that makes your skin feel like a dream. It’s so moisturizing that when using at night we opted to skip a heavier cream, though for daytime we never skip a moisturizer with sunscreen.
For that, we apply the oil after the moisturizer to lock in all the hydrating benefits. Since most moisturizers are high in water they won’t absorb as well through the thicker oil, but if you apply the oil on top it helps lock it all in. The result is the softest most glowing skin you can imagine. As if all of that isn’t enough the founder’s story is one we can all relate to. She left a successful career to pursue her passion, and well, find her joy. We think she’s nailing it.
