In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump r said he was “shown Reports” that Biden’s DOJ “AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE” in their search of the property for classified documents, and claimed that “They were authorized to shoot me!”
As Trump continues to whine that it was Biden’s plan to have him ‘assassinated,’ the FBI made the rare move of issuing a statement:
“The FBI followed standard protocol in this search as we do for all search warrants, which includes a standard policy statement limiting the use of deadly force. No one ordered additional steps to be taken and there was no departure from the norm in this matter.”
Followers of Trump received a campaign (read: fundraising ) email with the subject line: “They were authorized to shoot me!”
This is despite the fact that the FBI was well aware that Trump would not be home when they carried out the raid.
Still, if his MAGA followers believe Trump, that’s all that matters to him.
