It wasn’t Lady Gaga or even our beautiful new VP who stole the inauguration fashion show, but rather a grumpy Bernie Sanders and his grandfatherly mittens.
“In all the inauguration fashion news, let us not overlook Senator Bernie Sanders’ mittens,” New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman wrote on Twitter. “Can’t focus on the inauguration cause all I can think about is Bernie’s mittens,” someone else joked.
Social media did what it does best and Photoshopped Bernie and said mittens into all sorts of different situations. Perfect.
