“You got to win the midterms, because if we don’t win the midterms, it’s just going to be — I mean, they’ll find a reason to impeach me,” Trump said in a speech at a House Republican policy retreat. “I’ll get impeached.”
If, as expected, the Democrats win the midterms and take over control of Congress, it is expected that the Democrats will impeach him again.
Trump is the only president to have been impeached twice in the House, which he has tried to frame as a ‘political witch hunt.’
