Complaining that America has the ‘worst, dumbest immigration system in the world,’ Trump once again threatened to close the border.

‘I’m ready to close it, if I have to close it,’ he told reporters on Tuesday in the Oval Office.

When asked about the impact on trade, the President answered: “Security is more important than trade.’

‘If we don’t make a deal with Congress, the border’s going to be closed, 100 percent,’ he insisted. ‘Then we’re going to close the border, that’s going to be it.’

The President’s threat has prompted objections Democrats and Republicans alike and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce  has argued the move would damage the nation’s economy.

Someone save us.
