With allergies, an occasional wine night (or two), and a little “aging” thrown in, any product that can help undereye puffiness is welcome!
I tried the Fortify+ de-puffing and protecting eye cream (1.0 fl oz/30 ml on Amazon $8.97). It won the “Best of Beauty” award from Allure Magazine for 2022 and it’s a great price but I’m not really finding award-winning results. It does however feel substantial, creamy, and hydrating, but I did not find any noticeable “depuffing” in the undereye area after repeated use.
The product claims to have a unique formulation that contains “nourishing ingredients and Zeolite which helps reduce and slow the growth of bacteria on the face or the point of entry for pathogens.” Not sure about the bacteria growth claim? I haven’t seen that before in connection with a facial product.
Fortify+ also has collagen which is supposed to help with fine lines and wrinkles. It is promoted as “naturally clean,” vegan, cruelty free and non-GMO and uses only the “highest ingredients.”
It may work for some people, as evidenced by the “Best of Beauty” Allure Award, but for now, I’ll continue on my de-puffing quest for an undereye product that works for me!
