Pamela Anderson has embraced the ‘no makeup’ natural look and the internet has opinions. Many celebrities, including Jamie Lee Curtis, find it inspiring.
The “Halloween” actress posted a photo of Anderson with her natural look on Instagram, writing “THE NATURAL BEAUTY REVOLUTION HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!”
“@pamelaanderson in the middle of fashion week with so many pressures and postures, and and and, this woman showed up and claimed her seat at the table with nothing on her face,” Curtis wrote. “I am so impressed and floored by this act of courage and rebellion.”
Famous for her role on ‘Babewatch’ ‘Baywatch’ and then her love life, the star is back in the news due to a new book and documentary.
Asked about her new natural look, Anderson explained:
“Chasing youth is just futile. You’re never gonna get there. So why not embrace what’s going on. And since I’ve really walked out the door as me, I feel like a relief. Just a weight off my shoulders. And I actually like it better. I’m dressing for me now, not for everybody else.”
Of course, it doesn’t hurt that the 56-year-old is a natural beauty, but you have to admire her philosophy.
“Sometimes it’s challenging, and you just have to understand that you’re good enough and that you are beautiful. I like to say the word life-ing instead of aging,” she explained in a recent magazine article.
