A Texas woman was just arrested on charges that she threatened to kill US district judge Tanya Chutkan, who, as everyone now knows, is overseeing the prosecution of Trump on allegations that he tried to overturn the 2020 election.
Abigail Jo Shry, 43, from Texas, called the federal courthouse in Washington DC on 5 August and left a threatening voicemail message, using a racist slur, according to court documents.
In the call, Shry told the judge: “You are in our sights, we want to kill you,” according to the documents. Prosecutors allege Shry also said: “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you.”
Security has been beefed up for the Judge.
Now we’re learning that names, photographs, social media profiles and even the home addresses purportedly belonging to members of the Fulton County grand jury that this week voted to indict the former President– and 18 co-defendants –with officials saying some anonymous users are calling for violence against them.
Fears for their safety have grown since the revelation that some of these names have been leaked to pro-Trump forums and sites that have previously been linked to violent extremist attacks.
