A law passed almost unanimously in November ordered that the Epstein files be made public by December 19, 2025.

Now Attorney General Pam Bondi has asked for more time to release the files, saying they could not “provide a specific date” for when a review of the materials would be complete.

Instead, they said they expect to release the files “in the near term”. How many times have we heard that before?
