Trump is holding yet another Florida rally (is he accelerating his presidential campaign?) but announced he invited Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, snubbing Gov. Ron DeSantis who is running for reelection in the State.
Trump is fuming that DeSantis wouldn’t agree to step down if Trump decides to run since all indications are that DeSantis plans to run for President himself in 2024. Tellingly, DeSantis refused to commit to serving four years as Governor at a debate on Monday.
Trump has good reason to be worried — DeSantis is considered to be Trump’s only real Republican competition so far.
