Trump, who — in case anyone has forgotten — faces federal and state felony charges, has repeatedly attacked special counsel Jack Smith on Truth Social, which has put all the prosecutors in danger. The FBI has assigned extra protection to Smith over fears that Trump’s rhetoric could spur a crazed MAGA supporter to violence.
“Deranged Jack Smith, who is a sick puppet for A.G. Garland & Crooked Joe Biden, should be DEFUNDED & put out to rest,” he continued. “Republicans must get tough or the Dems will steal another Election. MAGA!” Trump screamed on Truth Social.
“This continuing Witch Hunt is another ELECTION INTERFERENCE Scam. They are cheaters and thugs!” Trump’s rant continued.
