Qatar — who has been heavily involved in negotiations — has confirmed that both Israel and Hamas have agreed to extend the truce by two more days and will release 10 more hostages per day.

In the first three days, Hamas released a total of 58 hostages, mostly women and children while Israel freed 117 Palestinian prisoners.

One of the sticking points, now resolved, is the Israeli demand that children be released with their mothers or grandmothers who are also captive.

And if you want to help the humanitarian efforts in Israel and Gaza, the International Red Cross is always a good choice. They have been active in the hostage exchanges and providing real-time help.
