Area’s spring/summer show featured models with spikey hair that went straight up. Think, yes, trolls.

The brand is celebrating its 10th anniversary and said the ‘hair on the runway reflected its rebellious ethos.’

“I always see punk inspiration in Area’s clothes, but in a very glam way,” celebrity hairstylist Mustafa Yanaz remarked in between creating gravity-defying hair.

Dubbed the “Electric Pixie”—it reflects the ‘punk spirit of ’70s London.’

As you might expect, the hair stylists used tons of extra-hold hairspray and then kept spraying into the models hit the runway.

Whether this means punk hair is coming back remains to be seen.
