Remember Sean C. Dunn, the man who threw a Subway sandwich at the chest of a federal agent after complaining to the agents about their strong-armed approach in policing Washington?

The Feds decided to prosecute him for ‘assault.’ Still, a jury just found Dunn innocent, determining that the launching of the 12-inch deli sandwich from what the government described as “point-blank range” was not an attempt to cause injury.

Besides wasting taxpayers’ money, this was a huge defeat for Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney in Washington, who made Mr. Dunn an example of how Mr. Trump’s aggressive policing and prosecuting in the city was ‘protecting citizens.’
