On Wednesday, nine jurors unanimously agreed that the photos from the crash scene that killed Vanessa Bryant’s husband, Kobe, and their 13-year-old daughter, invaded her privacy and caused emotional distress, awarding her $16 million.

The lawsuit stated that ‘Mrs. Bryantfeels ill at the thought  “that sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, and members of the public have gawked at gratuitous images of her deceased husband and child.’

The other Dad and daughter killed in the helicopter crash — the Chester family –were awarded $15 million.

Bryant and Chester testified they live in fear the photos may surface, despite LA County’s assertion each picture had been destroyed.

After the verdict was announced, she posted on Instagram a sweet photo of herself with Kobi and Gigi, captioning it:

“All for you! I love you! JUSTICE for Kobe and Gigi! #Betonyourself #MambaDay 8•24•22 💜💛💜💛 #MambaMentality.”
