First Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy appeared with the Pope — who has been championing peace — then he popped up in Germany over the weekend, and today arrived in England, greeting the PM Rishi Sunakwith a hug.

The whirlwind trip is to drum up support for his country’s war effort and it was successful as the UK promised more air defense missiles and attack drones.

“Welcome back”, the prime minister said in a post on Twitter, which included a photo of the two leaders in a warm embrace (see above.)

During the visit, Mr. Sunak praised the Ukrainian leader’s ‘fortitude’, drawing a comparison between Mr. Zelensky and Sir Winston Churchill during World War Two.

As you might expect, we never hear about Zelenskyy’s trips until after since security is so tight.
