Crowds of people lined the streets of Dublin Friday to pay tribute to The Pogues singer Shane MacGowan ahead of his funeral in County Tipperary.
Along with a rowdy singalong of ‘Dirty Old Town’ they also raised their voices for ‘FairyTale of New York’, which is already #1 on a number os music streaming services.
MacGowan, who died age 65 last week, will be cremated after a church service.
