Tuesday, Dubai was flooded by a year’s worth of rain, and the airport was temporarily closed. The streets turned into rivers, and some cars were underwater. Planes look like they are pushing through a lake.

Dubai has a hot and dry climate; recently, they tried seeding the clouds in a desperate attempt to create rain, but this was all due to climate change.

Dry weather is predicted to again be the norm tomorrow as the city grapples with the aftereffects of so much rain.
