After ignoring her own travel warnings — telling the American public not to travel over Thanksgiving — Dr. Birx was photographed out of state with relatives over the holiday. Cue: backlash.
Birx was caught traveling with her husband, one of her daughters, a son-in-law and two grandchildren to Delaware for Thanksgiving and meeting her grandparents at the property.
She did hedge her bets by saying she is ‘willing’ to help Biden’s team with the COVID response.
‘I want the Biden administration to be successful. I will be helpful in any role that people think I can be helpful in, and then I will retire.’
However, she has few fans after refusing to stand up to Trump, especially when he contradicted advice from medical advisers and scientists about how to fight the virus.
