Cancel those travel plans to China.

Yesterday, the World Health Organization (WHO) officially declared the new coronavirus outbreak a ‘global health emergency.’ What made them pull the trigger? The fast-moving virus has now spread to over 20 countries and at last count 213 people have died and over 10,000 infected. And it has been confirmed that Coronavirus can spread from human-to-human, increasing the threat.

Calling on countries to work together, WHO director-general said in a briefing:

“We must all act together now to limit further spread … We can only stop it together.”

“Our greatest concern is the potential for the virus to spread to countries with weaker health systems.”

In the US, the State Department issued its highest-level alert for people wanting to travel to China. And says those already there should “consider departing.”  No kidding.
