‘Household Cavalry’ horses without riders were seen running loose in central London Wednesday morning after escaping from an exercise at the Horse Guards Parade. Reportedly, an unexpected noise at a nearby construction site spooked the horses.

One horse injured itself by smashing into the windshield of a minivan, the vehicle’s owner told a reporter. Another beast ran into a double-decker tour bus, which was seen with a smashed-up windshield.

Four people were injured but none appear life-threatening.

All riders and horses are now “receiving the appropriate medical attention,” said police.
