This is so weird.
Trump repeatedly references cannibal Hannibal Lecter.
At the Republican National Convention last month, he asked:
“Has anyone seen ‘The Silence of the Lambs’? The late, great Hannibal Lecter. He’d love to have you for dinner. That’s insane asylums. They’re emptying out their insane asylums.”
In Wildwood, N.J., on May 11, he told the crowd:
“The late, great Hannibal Lecter. He’s a wonderful man. … Remember the last scene?” Trump went on to say: “We have people that are being released into our country that we don’t want in our country.”
It all boils down to Trump’s immigration rant; that countries are sending their criminals, ‘rapists’ and now, insane people to the U.S.
