Three days ago the Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha’apai volcano erupted and triggered 49-foot tsunami waves, putting all of the US West Coast on alert.

The Tongan government said the kingdom of islands had suffered an “unprecedented disaster,” but because the internet was is down little is known about fatalities.

Australian and New Zealand have already started air drops and are sending recovery and medical supplies by boat as well.
