Harry Potter Daniel Radcliffe is set to play musician parodist “Weird Al” Yankovic in Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, from Funny or Die and Tango that is set to stream exclusively on the Roku Channel.

A five-time Grammy winner, Yankovic is the biggest-selling comedy recording artist of all time, and the first comedian to debut his record — ‘Mandatory Fun’ — at #1 in the Us.
“When Weird Al first sat me down against my will and told me his life story, I didn’t believe any of it,” admitted Eric Appel who is co-writing the screenplay, “but I knew that we had to make a movie about it.”
Production will kick off in Los Angeles early next month.
