Chappell Roan set the stage on fire — literally — at the VMAs last night.

Looking like Joan of Arc, Roan came out in a suit of armor, holding a crowwbow with a flaming arrow which she proceeded to fire into the ‘castle’ which immediately caught fire.

While singing her single, “Good Luck, Baby!” she was accompanied by ‘soldiers’ who kept time with choreographed dance moves.

Roan is headed to London shortly after the show ends to launch her European tour, followed by the 2024 Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, with two performances on Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.
