For anyone who’s struggled with putting sunscreen on a squirming toddler, Sunshine and Glitter’s sunscreen might make it a little easier.

The SPF reef-safe biodegradable sunscreen comes in a sparkly tube, bound to attract any youngster, and leaves a little glitter on the skin.

Eco-friendly, the cosmetic glitter is actually made of wood cellulose so according to the company, it’s safe for use around the eyes. When it breaks down it becomes food for microorganisms so that’s a big plus.

Like all the best sunscreens, the Mermaid sunscreen provides 80 minutes of water resistance, is PABA and Paraben free, and unlike most sunscreens, contains non-irritant glitter.

However, we didn’t like any of the fruity, sweet scents (birthday cake anyone?) but again, the younger crowd will like it. $19.95.
