We can all agree that planet Earth is the most important part of our everyday lives and it’s our job to save and protect it. So Skwad made teen and planet safe products. Skwad doesn’t include any harsh ingredients that most other skincare brands use and according to their website, they use recycled raw ingredients to be eco friendly.
I was excited to receive the Skwad starter kit, which includes the Skweez Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash (100ml), Skwish Hydrating Moisturizer (100ml), Skwirt Hydrating and Exfoliating Facial and Body Toning Spray (100ml), Skrape Nourishing Face Mask and Shaving Cream (100ml), and the Skwad Toiletry Bag for Teenage Girls and Boys (100ml). The kit costs $132.00, but it is now on sale for $116.
The Skweez Gentle Exfoliator Wash ($24) and the Skwish Hydrating Moisturizer felt nice on my skin and had a cooling effect. The texture of the Skweez was sticky but glided on my face very easily. After only a few days of use, I noticed my acne cleared up using both products (my skin is different from others, so the result might not be the same). I thought it was strange at first that the products were fragrance-free free but then I realized that some people have allergies and that was very considerate of them. The product is packaged in sleek, attractive bottles that appeal to the eye. The only downfall to the hydrating moisturizer was that when I pressed the pump top, it oozed out of the bottom of the cap.
In the starter kit, I also received the Skwirt Hydrating Exfoliating Facial and Body Toning Spray ($22) and a Skrape Nourishing Face Mask and Shaving Cream, which claims to be able to do both. The spray has a wonderful mist with no smell, so no allergic reactions. It hydrated my skin without feeling oily.
The shaving cream/face mask duo has a smooth, glossy texture and is great for shaving anywhere. ($27.) As a face mask, it dried quickly and washed off easily. My skin felt refreshed. Lastly, the Skwad toiletry bag fits all the products and is great for on-the-go. It has a handle to carry and is chic and modern.
