While we were sleeping, an angry and embattled President Trump decided it would be a good idea to threaten Iran in a tweet. After President Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned the US that war with Tehran would be the “mother of all wars,” Trump shouted/tweeted ‘IRAN WOULD SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE.’
As the President deals with wars of his own making within the White House, including fall out from his summit with Russia’s Vladimir Putin, the revelation that his personal lawyer Michael Cohen taped their discussions about paying off the Presidents various women and a stalemate with North Korea, Trump reacts as his always does — tweeting angrily into the night. This time though, he’s escalating an already tense world by tweeting the Iran President.
